Natural pain killer is Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are the most commonly used drug for pain management in horses. Dexafort has anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous, anti-allergic, desensitizing effect. The mechanism of action is to inhibit the release of inflammatory mediators by eosinophils and mast cells. Dexamethasone acts at all stages of the inflammatory process, increases the resistance of the cell membrane to various damaging factors. Dexafort stimulates steroid lymphocyte receptors, promoting the formation of lipocortins, which have anti-edematous effect. Inhibits the proliferation of lymphoid tissue and cellular immunity, disrupts the kinetics of T – lymphocytes, reduces their cytotoxic activity. The drug has a rapid and prolonged effect.
Action:
The drug is administered intramuscularly. The maximum concentration in blood plasma is reached in 60 minutes after administration. Therapeutic concentration in blood plasma is maintained for 30-96 hours, depending on the species. Bioavailability when administered intramuscularly is 100%.

Dosage and method of application:
Cattle and horses – 10 ml / once
Goats, pigs, foals – 1-3 ml / once
Dogs – 0.5-1 ml / once
Cats – 0.2.5-5 ml / once
If necessary, the drug is used again after 7 days.
Side effects:

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. It is forbidden to use in the last trimester to pregnant females, as it can lead to premature birth and abortion.
